Before Hiranyakahsyapa, Gunasekhar announces his next

Gunasekhar who is known for his larger-than-life films has announced his next. After Rudhrama Devi, Guna Sekhar has been working on a couple of projects. It is known that Guna Sekhar is working on the project Hiranya Kashyapa with Rana Daggubati in the lead role. It was also revealed that the script has been locked for the project and all the pre-production works have been wrapped up.

Here, comes another surprising update from the maverick director. It was announced that Gunasekhar is going to make another historical movie titled Shaakunthalam. The movie will be produced by himself and Mani Sharma will be composing music for the movie.

Guna Sekhar tweeted, “Before manifesting the spectacle of Narasimha Avatar on the silver screen in ‘Hiranyakashyapa’.. Presenting to you a whimsical ‘Tale of Love’ from the Adi Parva of the Mahabharata.”

Adi Parva describes the love story of Dushyanta and Shakunthala who gives birth to the Bharatha.
