Action King Arjun Sarja is facing #MeToo allegations from Sruthi Hariharan, who played his wife in Nibunan a.k.a Kurukshetram in Telugu. The actress said that in an improv session Arjun misbehaved with her.
Director of the film, Arun said that he was there at the time and actually he wanted it to be more intense and intimate but at the scripting stage Arjun asked him to dial it down. So, they did discuss before the scene was shot and the intent on Arjun’s part was not wrong. He also said that if something off the set had transpired, he wouldn’t know until reported.
Another young actress Sony Charistha defended Arjun Sarja. She said that he is a gentleman and all the allegations are not true.
“I have worked with Mr Arjun Sarja in Kontract movie (yet to be released) and I know the kind of person he is. He is a thorough professional when it comes to work and I don’t believe in the allegations levelled against him. He respects women and can never do any kind of activity that can be uncomfortable to a lady. This is my honest opinion and all my support to Arjun Sarja Sir at this stage,” said Sony Charishta. Well, #MeToo seems to be dividing women too!
