AR Rahman, the only Oscar-winning composer from India has been doing crazy projects and important big budget films only ever since his range as a composer and popularity have increased.
But for Mani Ratnam, his film guru, he works for any budget and any length of time. The music composer came for a promotional interview of Nawab, Mani Ratnam’s new film releasing on 27th September.
He talked about Telugu being a sweet language and how he likes it. He also said, “For Mani sir, I will work any time and wait to work with him for as many days as I can. I told him during USA concert I will work on the BG score and he asked me, if I want an AD to be sent down there. I showed him my set up and he trusted me that I can score well for the film. He has such trust for me, so, I eagerly wait for his next project as he challenges me and we don’t know how we spent our time!”
He also talked about Nawab, he said, “I thought Mani sir is back to his Nayagan days and the movie will definitely surprise everyone. He took a deviation from the kind of films he is making these days and the movie will be a thrilling experience.”
