Before a film can be sold to distributors, the producers have to make their terms and conditions plain and simple, especially the streaming dates. This is so that the distributors do not face any losses, in case the film goes into streaming much early. Based on all these factors, the film’s price is then finalized.
Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film Ante Sundaraniki, which is all set to be released on June 10th, seems to be facing issues in this department, as the producers have reportedly not given any clarity over the film’s streaming date. Given that Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pushpa, which are produced by the same production house, were streamed earlier than expected, the distributors are said to be worried about Ante Sundaraniki’s streaming commitments.
The producers have reportedly given a 15% discount to the buyers, without mentioning any terms, or clarifying anything. This could be a tricky situation for the buyers and distributors, and it is now to be seen what will happen.
