Director Lingusamy is planning to bring back his 2014 action film Anjaan with a re-edited version for re-release.
The movie which starred Suriya and Samantha received mixed reviews and mixed talk everywhere when it first came out.
But recently the Hindi dubbed version of Anjaan was re-edited and re-released, and it got a surprisingly good response from viewers. This has created new buzz around the film.
In a recent interview, Lingusamy confirmed that he’s working on a fresh edit of the Tamil version and will officially announce the release date soon.
With many old hit films getting successful re-releases these days, fans are now eager to see if Anjaan, releasing again after 11 years, will connect better with audiences this time around.
