Andhhagadu, starring Raj Tharun and Hebah Patel is releasing this Friday, on 2nd of June. The actor spoke to media about his role and what to expect from the movie. He said, “The role of a blind person is not easy to portray and I had to concentrate more on character than ever. But I did not take any lessons or workshops for it. I observed many blind people and used my common sense to approach the character. Any blind person uses his hearing power more, so I tried to react everything like how a person who reacts after hearing a sound would do!”
The actor expressed his confidence on the movie and claimed that it will be the best of his career. “Movie has all commercial ingredients and tries to be innovative too. I got so connected to the script that I felt this is one of it’s kind as how much ever you plan you can’t get a script that will adhere to all demands of popular cinema and also be unconventional at the same time. This movie influenced my decisions while choosing next scripts.” He is playing a Radio Jockey in the movie and his character will be blind in the movie for just 40 minutes.
The actor also expressed his happiness and comfort in sharing the screen with Hebah Patel. He also said he has no qualms in doing a multi-starrer. The actor lamented that it is script that needs to inspire him and the other actor. When asked if he has any choices, he said, “I’m game to work with any actor. Nikhil and I get along really well, so we both decided to be a part of a multi-starrer, whenever we get a script that excites us!”
