In today’s flashback, Aishwarya Rai can be seen berating a reporter for bringing up Salman Khan in an old video.
Bollywood actors are frequently the target of harsh media questions and public criticism. Some people have handled it with the utmost grace, while others have frequently lost their cool. We previously shared a clip of Shah Rukh Khan returning a microphone to a journalist on National TV after he had asked some inappropriate questions. Aishwarya Rai is another famous person who has responded to some contentious queries.
Aish and Chetan Sharma had a conversation in 2004, and a tape of the conversation has recently reappeared on Reddit. The brief video begins with the journalist questioning the actress about how she didn’t connect with Khan-daans.
She cut him off by calling it a drama when a reporter questioned, “There is also, you can call it an accusation, or this kind of feeling that seems to be that you just have not been able to strike the right chord with the Khan-daans, the Aamirs, the Salmans, the Shah Rukhs, and perhaps that’s not held you in good stead.” Aishwarya Rai shot out at him, appearing irritated by the questions, saying, “You folks enjoy this drama so you can keep this going, it keeps you all entertained.
Aishwarya Rai is questioned about getting replaced in films like Mangal Pandey by the journalist after prodding her more. After answering the question, she was then questioned about her dog, who was her “latest sunshine.” Once more answering him politely, Aish said, “Why don’t you just wait for an autobiography?” There were rumours going around that Vivek Oberoi gave the dog to Aishwarya Rai as a present.
Why don’t you wait for an autobiography, a commenter suggested shortly after the video was posted online. This Aishwarya is missed. In her earlier interviews, she was so strong, but then everything changed, and she became quite reserved. An additional person remarked, “Unmatched grace and a spine of steel.”
A user wrote, “usey kahan khabar thi, ki ye uska akhri interview hoga… Savdhan rahein satark rahein
What dignity, bravery, and assurance. I’m in awe. I’ll let Aishwarya step on top of me without objecting. Another commenter wrote, “I appreciate how she handled all the criticism, misogyny, and patriarchy while still standing at the top.
