Aishwarya confirms her next project

Well, the news is true. She has been roped to play one of the leading ladies in Mani Ratnam’s multi starrer film, which is an adaptation of the classic period novel, Ponniyin Selvin. While Mani Ratnam hasn’t announced this project officially, the actress has done it.

Aishwarya herself confirmed the speculative report at the Cannes 2019.

In an interaction with a lead journalist, after walking the red carpet at the Cannes 2019, she said that even though Mani Ratnam hasn’t formally announced it himself but the word is out. Aishwarya committed to the fact that she is working with him. She added that she will always be more than thrilled, excited, overwhelmed, humbled and just happy to work with her guru, Mani.
