Documentaries about wildlife, science, discoveries and history have been usp of several channels. Few nerdy and geeky viewers love to follow them and even regular entertainment mongers tend to switch to them occasionally on interesting topics. Netflix and Amazon Prime Video offer unique docudrama series based on those topics on OTT as well. Following their lead, Aha, the Telugu OTT platform is looking to launch a docudrama series about Science, Historical events.
Director Sagar Chandra will helm the series and there will be experts talking about the history of discoveries and kingdoms, say reports. This series will first concentrate on unknown historical figures from Telugu history, it seems. Also, the stories about Newton, Jhansi Laxmibai will also be a part of the series, say sources. “Beyond Textbooks” is the title under consideration, say reports.
