Daggubati family is well-known for film production as Ramanaidu Daggubati, established himself as a Movie Moghul and built a huge production house, Suresh Productions, that produced more than 125 films in various languages. His elder son, Suresh Babu, took over the production and built the empire even future by building a studio and installing all the technically advanced equipment for post-production works to be done.
Later, his younger son, Venkatesh debuted as an actor and became a star. Rana Daggubati, his eldest grandson, decided to concentrate on production first and then, debuted as an actor. He is now continuing to do films in many languages and selecting more and more interesting scripts after Baahubsli series, success. Reports suggested that Rana’s younger brother, Abhiram is looking to make an acting debut soon. His film is said to have been confirmed to launch soon.
But now close sources of the family revealed to media that the idea has been dropped. The sources said, “Suresh Babu, after thinking so long, decided it is in the best interest of the family business and Abhiram too, for him to look after the film production side. As Rana and Venkatesh are on the acting side, someone from the grandsons and granddaughters needed to look after the production side, that Ramanaidu is known for. So, Abhiram is asked to learn by involving in the production of few films and then, take over as the main producer like his father did.” Well, the youngster will be actively involved in Venkatesh’s next and Rana’s next film in Suresh Productions banner.
