A.R.Rahman to join Sangamitra at Cannes!

Baahubali, the franchise inspired many Indian production houses to look beyond their regional markets and take forward the idea of producing a movie with globally acceptable content. While many are shaken away by the scale of imagination of the Baahubali team, few are trying to better it. Certainly, Shruthi Hassan, Arya and Jayam Ravi starrer Sangamitra has the ambition to reach the heights of Baahubali.

The massive Tamil production subjected to be produced at a cost of more than 300 crores, is directed by Sundar.C. Most of the technicians worked for Baahubali are roped in for the movie. Sabu Cyril will look over the production design. Thirru will handle the Camera work, Kamal Kannan will handle the VFX work. Peter Heins is roped in for stunt choreography. The movie is produced by Thenendal Films. The movie is planned for a release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and global languages. To gain major interest at global scene, Thenendal Films planned to launch the movie at famous Cannes Film Festival, starting this weekend.

Along with the star cast and director, A.R. Rahman the music composer of the film will also join the team at the Cannes. The team of the movie, expressed their happiness in introducing their ambitious product in front of the global audience in such a fashion. With Rahman coming on board and announcing his association, the movie will gain International attention and the producers are planning just that with this launch program. The movie pre-production works are still going on with all the cast members taking rigorous training for various martial arts and the shoot is expected by August.
