Father and son have an unique bond throughout their life. While growing up father makes you realise how it is important to keep you head on your shoulders through thick and thin and after being an adult he becomes guide in difficult situations. So giving a tribute to such a great person in our life is more than important.
Plot : Siddharth Reddy (Sai Dharam Tej) is a journalist in New Look Daily Newspaper but he takes life simple and lives it by the day with strong hatred towards his father and racing. His father Mahendra Reddy (Jagapathi Babu) loves him and misses him too. He keeps performing all kinds of rituals and pooja for him to comeback. Looking at this, grand father (Mukhesh Rishi) of Siddhu decides to play the spoil sprout in the happy relation. Even from young age he always tries to draw a wedge between the father and son as he hates Siddu’s mother. Siddharth falls in love with Sitara (Rakul Preet Singh) and as she tries to avoid him, she challenges him for a race with another Siddharth (Thakur Anoop Singh). So who wins the race and will the father and son unite forms the rest of the story?!
Performances : Sai Dharam Tej looks very lazy in the movie and in emotional sequences he gave his worst in the movie. In dances, he looks highly disinterested and just going through the motions. In the action sequences he does come to life but again his energy levels drop down considerably in few important scenes. All in all he needs to be given a good amount of counselling to chose better and give his best in the chosen movie.
Jagapathi Babu proves to be an asset for the movie but in climax he too gives up on acting good. Rakul Preet Singh should be paid all the remuneration for the film as her glamour and sensuous energy carries out the movie better than story and character. But even in some scenes she looks worn out. Mukhesh Rishi, Prudhvi, Ali, Vennela Kishore and Sonia Aggarwal are wasted in their roles. Thakur Anoop Singh flexes his muscles again.
Technicalities : Cinematography by Chota K. Naidu once again proved to be not in sync with the story but to look good on screen. His blocking sense is great but his exposure levels and hue, saturation levels needs to follow the script too. Editing by Pravin Pudi needed to be on spot but his scissors were at deep rest through out the film. Dialogues by Abburi Ravi and Sreedhar Seepana are the most laziest work of the film. With each and every passing scene their writing goes from bad to lazy to routine to worse. Story by Veligonda Srinivas should be called the most recent and unpopular way of writing a story. Looking at 10 films and old telugu films, he wrote the story of the film and he needs to come up with something original soon.
Screenplay and Direction by Gopichand Malineni should be called a silly attempt at commercialising any kind of story in the very very routine way as much as possible. You need characters to fall in love with the movie but not some random scenes to let the audience laugh for few minutes. It is just some pathetic effort on his part to make a commercial movie. He might have scored hits with Pandaga Chesuko and Balupu but this time he tests patience and even drags it to the cemetery.
Analysis : The movie lovers in the audience will be thinking with each movie releasing every week, what kind of a nonsense are we watching and these kind of lazy efforts need to stop. The main threat to this film for being a good movie is the director himself. Since he is the captain, he just takes everything for granted and to commercialise he makes a career worst effort for everyone in the team. Keep away from this movie to save your pockets and time.
