Will Akshaye Khanna, Suniel Shetty Appear In Border 2..?

Fans of the 1997 hit Border are in for a pleasant surprise. Few pages and reports suggest that Akshaye Khanna, Suniel Shetty and Sudesh Berry will make cameo appearances in the upcoming sequel Border 2. The original film directed by J.P. Dutta is still remembered as one of India’s most popular war movies.

Border 2 is being directed by Anurag Singh and features a new cast that includes Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty.

As per reports the makers have filmed short scenes with the original actors, who are expected to return as their earlier characters, even though those characters did not survive in the first part.

Set during the 1971 India-Pakistan war the film connects the old and new characters in a special sequence.

This idea adds nostalgia and also brings Suniel Shetty and Ahan Shetty together on screen. Border 2 will release in big screens on January 23rd 2026.
