Were Mahesh fans taken for a ride?

Mahesh Babu is the current reigning Superstar of Telugu Cinema. Him doing a film with a director like Koratala Siva, who gave him a film like Srimanthudu before is the biggest scoop now. Every Telugu Cinema enthusiast’s eye is on the project and as Rangasthalam mania is subsiding, they want to get mesmerized by Mahesh Babu like never before in the avatar of Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh.

The craze for the project is at an all-time high even though Spyder and Brahmostavam became huge disasters for Mahesh Babu. His fans are expecting a huge comeback from Mahesh Babu. So, the producer DVV Danayya, planned to promote the film on a grand scale. The film’s pre-release event has been designed on a large scale at L.B Stadium as Bharat’s first public meeting in sync with his character from the film.

For this event, Jr. NTR has been invited as Chief guest and this brought even more craze for the function. Two superstars on one stage is a huge bonus for all the audience. Taking this as an advantage few mediators got the event passes from their known sources at production house and event management company for free and started selling them for more than Rs.1500/- per pass. This has been confirmed by an anonymous fan and he isn’t bothered about the money as he gets to see Mahesh and Jr. NTR on one stage.

Rather than asking fans to come directly and then take money like this, it would be great if Tollywood event co-ordinators come up with a plan for online ticket sales to sell the audio or pre-release event passes. They can donate this money to people in need rather than these mediators making money.
