Suresh Babu is the head of Suresh Productions and distribution. He carved a niche for himself in TFI, after starting as the son of legendary producer, D. Ramanaidu. He has now become an address for the small films in the Industry, as his production house and distribution house are promoting them and releasing them very intelligently. After Ee Nagaraniki Emaiyyindi, he is now releasing C/O Kancherapalem.
He talked about the movie and said, “I saw the movie after Rana insisted to watch. I like these kind of Big Small Films that try to tell a story of their own in their own style than just follow the routine commercial formula all the time. Even the young directors are not being so lazy and unidimensional. They are thinking about new ideas and new ways to tell a story. We are here to encourage the young filmmakers and their best stories. We are looking to promote many more like C/O Kancherapalem.”
He talked about the director and producer of the movie. “I know Venkat Maha as the spot boy here. He went to Vizag and wrote a story that follows four couples in a very realistic manner. He took 52 actors from the village and I believe only 4 or 5 are looking to become professionals. Even after making this film, Venkat is going to New York to improve his craft. I like such people. Paruchuri Vijaya produced this movie from her savings. I’m really glad that we are associated with such a passionate film,” concluded Suresh Babu. The movie is releasing on 7th September.
