Following the recent stampede in Karur during Vijay’s political speech, rumors surfaced that his upcoming film Jana Nayagan might face a delay.
However these reports are completely untrue. The makers have confirmed that the film will release as scheduled on January 9th 2026. Currently the team is focused on wrapping up the final post-production work.
The promotions are set to begin in November with Vijay expected to attend two major pre-release events in December.
The trailer of Jana Nayagan will be unveiled on New Year’s Eve, adding to the festive excitement. The film will also enjoy a grand release across the Telugu states.
Directed by H Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan is a social drama featuring Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
