Vijayashanthi’s classic to get a sequel!

Vijayashanthi tried to take her star image to next level with Karthavyam and while it did give her a market, she couldn’t really inspire more producers to invest only on her as the lead in corresponding films. It is Osey Ramulamma by Dasari Narayana Rao that took her stake her to the next level. We hear that this film is going to get a sequel now. Ajay Koundinya is going to direct and produce the sequel on his production banner, Koundinya Film Factory.

The director himself announced this to media and called the film, Osey Ramulamma 2, a different yet heart touching story. He said that the film will take forward the essence of original film and it is not a marketing gimmick to use such classic title. Soon, he will announce the cast and crew details. Will Vijayashanthi make an appearance in the movie? What will exactly be the story going to be? We are also waiting for those details.
