Vijay Rules Politics And Popularity Charts

After dominating Kollywood for more than a decade, Vijay has now proved his strength in politics too. He became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after his TVK party won the Assembly elections.

With this major achievement Vijay climbed to the second position on IMDb’s most popular Indian celebrities list.

Interestingly, he was earlier ranked 21st making this a huge jump in popularity. Actor Ambareesh Varma, known for Sapne vs Everyone, is currently holding the top spot.

Meanwhile Vijay’s last film Jana Nayagan is expected to release soon.

The film, directed by H. Vinoth faced several delays and challenges but is finally getting ready for a theatrical release, creating curiosity among fans.
