Varun Dhawan is in talks with producer Dinesh Vijan known for the film Bhediya, to work on a new mythological drama with some comedy. This new film may start shooting before Bhediya 2.
While Varun is busy filming Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in Scotland with Mrunal Thakur and Mouni Roy he is also planning his next project with Dinesh.
Varun and Dinesh have worked together before on movies like Badlapur and Bhediya, and Varun appeared in Dinesh’s horror-comedy films like Munjya and Stree 2. Their good working relationship is leading to this new project.
According to sources, the new film will be a mythological horror-comedy, different from Dinesh’s previous horror-comedy movies.
It is a fresh, standalone story. They are also discussing two other scripts, but this mytho-horror comedy is the top choice. The female lead is not finalized yet, and more details are expected by July.
