Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who impressed viewers with her strong performances, is now stepping into a new chapter of her career.
She is making her debut as both a producer and a director. Along with her sister Pooja Sarathkumar and she has launched a new production company called Dosa Diaries.
Their first project under this banner is titled Saraswathi. Varalaxmi is not only producing the film but also directing it and playing the lead role.
The movie is described as a high concept thriller and features a great cast including Prakash Raj, Priyamani and Naveen Chandra in important roles. Adding to the excitement popular music director Thaman has come on board to compose the soundtrack.
With this film Varalaxmi is taking on multiple burdens and proving her versatility in the industry showing that she is ready to make a mark both in front of and behind the camera.
