‘Vaadivaasal’, directed by Vetrimaaran and starring Suriya was announced long ago but got delayed due to the director’s busy work.
Despite the wait pre-production has been progressing steadily. Music for the film is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
Suriya trained with real Jallikattu performers for his role and a special video of his training was released in 2022.
Recently Vetrimaaran revealed that a robotic bull, designed to look real, is being created for the film. He also confirmed that director-actor Ameer plays a key role.
Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu’s Pongal post with Suriya and Vetrimaaran hinted at intensified pre-production. GV Prakash also announced that music composition and song recordings have begun.
However filming hasn’t started yet, as Suriya is completing another project. Once he wraps up, ‘Vaadivaasal’ is expected to begin, making it a highly anticipated film in Tamil cinema.
