The film industry went through tough times during COVID. Everyone wondered if it would survive after the pandemic, especially since audiences got used to watching movies on OTT platforms. With rising costs, few people were interested in going to theaters. During that time, directors asked star heroes and heroines to lower their fees, and many agreed.
However, Tollywood bounced back quickly after COVID, with movies like “Pushpa” and “RRR” taking Telugu cinema to new heights. As a result, heroes started increasing their remuneration again.

Allu Arjun has dedicated almost three years to “Pushpa 2“. Reports suggest he is asking for 150 crores as his remuneration. Additionally, he is receiving a percentage of the earnings from the Hindi rights.
NTR gained a pan-India image with “RRR”, and as a result, he has increased his remuneration. Currently, he is charging 100 crores per film. There’s buzz in Bollywood media that NTR is being paid more than Hrithik Roshan for “War 2”.
Mahesh Babu was paid 65 crores for the film “Guntur Kaaram“. Reports suggest he will be earning between 80 crores and 100 crores for his upcoming movie directed by SS Rajamouli.
Although Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently taking a break from movies, his demand remains high. Filmmakers are willing to offer him advances in the hundreds of crores if he agrees to return. He is currently asking for 60 crores to 80 crores for his films “OG“, “Ustaad Bhagat Singh“, and “Hari Hara Veera Mallu“.
Chiranjeevi’s demand remains high, with his films continuing to achieve record openings. As a result, reports indicate that he is earning between 40 crores and 70 crores as remuneration.
Vijay Devarakonda reportedly received 20 crores for “Kushi” and 25 crores for “Family Star“. Currently, he is asking for 27 crores to 45 crores for his upcoming films, which aligns with his market value.
Until Akhanda Balayya Babu did not pay much attention to the matter of remuneration. But now he is demanding Rs. 30 crores. The director and producers are also saying that it is okay.
Producers consider a film with Natural Star Nani to be a safe investment. Currently, Nani is asking for 25 crores to 30 crores, and the producers are willing to meet his demands.
Despite facing continue flops recently, Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja’s demand remains strong. He is asking for a remuneration of 30 crores, but producers are willing to offer up to 25 crores.
