This OTT Platform Secures Family Star’s Streaming Rights

Vijay Deverakonda returns to the big screen with “The Family Star,” a family-centric romantic drama directed by Parasuram Petla, known for “Geetha Govindam.” Starring alongside Mrunal Thakur, the movie aims to recapture the success of their previous collaboration.

Despite decent expectations, the film is receiving mixed reviews from fans, with both Deverakonda and Petla hoping for a comeback after facing consecutive flops. Rashmika Mandanna makes a surprise appearance to add to the film’s appeal, recalling their previous successful collaboration.

The production is funded by Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC), which is led by Dil Raju and Sirish, with Parasuram Petla writing and directing. Gopi Sundar created the music, while K U Mohanan was in charge of photography and Marthan K. Venkatesh handled editing.

The producers of Vijay Deverakonda’s film ‘The Family Man’ made it to a deal with OTT giant Netflix, and the official collaboration has been announced. The digital streaming date will be announced once the picture has completed its eight-week theatrical run.
