Prabhas, India’s biggest pan-Indian star, is set to release his next film The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. The film’s trailer has created huge buzz but its OTT deal is still pending.
Made by People Media Factory after three years of effort, this horror comedy has a total non-theatrical value of Rs. 200 crores. Jio Plus Hotstar is interested in acquiring the digital and satellite rights.
However, due to production delays, the makers borrowed money from Ivy Entertainment, which later filed a case against the production house.
Because of this, Jio Plus Hotstar has asked for an NOC before completing the deal. The producers aim to settle the issue and close the OTT deal by the end of November. The first song of the film will be out on November 5th with its prom on 2nd.
The Raja Saab releases worldwide on January 9, starring Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi and Sanjay Dutt.
