Thalapathy66 titled Varisu

Kollywood star Vijay is working on a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project under the direction of Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally. Tentatively titled Thalapathy66, the makers have unveiled the film’s first look poster this evening on the eve of Vijay’s birthday special. ( Thalapathy is celebrating his 48th birthday on June 22nd)

The film is titled Varisu with the tagline The Boss Returns. In the first look poster, Vijay is seen in a sitting pose and his dapper-looking avatar has been receiving tremendous response from the fans and moviegoers. Varisu has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

Being bankrolled by Dil Raju, Varisu has its music composed by Thaman. The film is expected to hit the screens during Sankranthi 2023.
