Romantic hero and popular actor, Tarun suddenly fell out of demand with bad choices and since, he never recovered from his slump to make a successful comeback. He debuted as a child artist and became very popular with his looks and acting abilities in movies like Aditya 369, Anjali and many more. After few years, he debuted as a lead actor in Nuvve Kavali, the movie became a sensational hit and in a way kick started romantic comedies in Telugu Film Industry.
After the movie, Tarun became a youthful romantic sensation and he never had the same success to bank upon. But he saw hits with Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu, Priyamaina Neeku, Nuvve Nuvve and Ela Cheppanu. With bad choices like Adrushtam, Oka Oorilo, Sakhiya, Soggadu he started a downward spiral and never recovered back. He lost many good chances due to his decision to act as a hero only.
Even with Krishna Vamsi’s Sasirekha Parinayam and Nuvve Kavali director, Vijayabhaskar’s Bhale Dongalu, he could only find himself in a pickle. Not knowing what suits him perfectly, he waited further and then in 2015, he announced Idi Naa love story remake of Kannada Super hit, Simple Agi Ondh Love Story. The original gave today’s sensation Rakshit Shetty a career and many expected even Tarun to resurrect his chances of becoming successful once again. But the movie did not see the day light even today. It is almost 18 months and still the details about the movie are unknown. When last questioned a source close to producers said due to Demonetization, the movie production has been halted indefinitely. So the tale of hibernation for Tarun continues..
