Renee Sen and Alisah Sen, Sushmita Sen’s two adopted kids, are the pride of their adoptive mother, who is poised to fascinate viewers with her transgender portrayal in Taali. Currently, Sushmita Sen is creating a lot of buzz for her forthcoming OTT film, Taali. The biographical drama series, which is being directed by Ravi Jadhav, will tell the narrative of transgender activist Gauri Sawant’s adversity, tenacity, and strength. Sen will portray Sawant’s role in the much awaited web series on the internet. Sushmita always steals the show with her electrifying performances and her taste in movies, but her status as a “single mom” has long been a topic of conversation. Sen has frequently faced criticism for being a single mother on social media because she is a famous figure.

Now, in her most recent interview, the star has addressed how raising her girls without a “father” didn’t create an “imbalance” in their lives and clarified a misperception about being a single mother.

In an exclusive interview, a former Miss Universe discussed how raising her girls alone, without a father figure around, didn’t make a difference or cause any sort of “imbalance” in her daughters’ lives, Renne and Alisah. The actor said, “That..there is an imbalance if they grow up without a father,” when asked about the same. The absence of a father is not regretted, yet like everything else in life, fathers are crucial. The idea is therefore different.

For those who don’t know, Sen is the proud mother of Renee and Alisah, her two adorable daughters. When Renee was only 24 years old, the actor adopted her. While in 2010, she adopted Alisah.

Speaking about her choice to adopt two girls, Sushmita previously said that many people had doubted her decision to adopt children so young. In spite of everyone’s opinions, the performer persisted in her choice and adopted Renee and Alisah. Sen describes it as her “best choice” to yet.

The new online series Taali, which is being directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, is based on the life of renowned transgender campaigner Gauri Sawant. Taali, starring Sushmita Sen, is scheduled to debut on a top OTT platform on July 4.
