Suriya is currently on the set of his next movie with director Karthik Subbaraj. Yesterday while shooting he got hurt and the filming had to stop.
He was quickly taken to the hospital but luckily only suffered minor injuries and is now recovering.
To reassure fans the film’s producer, Rajasekhar Pandian, posted an update saying, “Dear #AnbaanaFans, It was a minor injury. Please don’t worry, Suriya Anna is perfectly fine with all your love and prayers.”
The accident happened while Suriya was filming a scene without a body double. The movie’s second schedule is taking place in Ooty, with Pooja Hegde as the lead actress.
Suriya is expected to return to the set soon. He has finished filming for Kanguva, directed by Siva, which is set to release on October 10th during the Dasara festival.
