Recall how Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan got into a serious fight at Katrina Kaif’s party and Shah Rukh Khan labeled it a “personal thing.”
Few are aware before becoming industry best friends. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been at odds for a while. For those who are unaware, SRK and Salman, who both entered Bollywood after SRK, have been rivals for some now following a fight that occurred at Katrina Kaif’s party. After a heated altercation at the actress’ party in 2008, the two celebs remained close yet distant. The two buried their grudges and offered one other an olive branch years later.
The Pathaan actor was questioned about it in 2012 at a leadership summit, and in his response, he said that they had been close for 20 years but had just reached a point of conflict.
Shah Rukh Khan said in the summit, “We have had a little bit of personal issue. This is not the first time, it is about four years ago. We were very close for 20 years… We have certain things that are similar and there are certain things which we disagree on. So at this point in time, we are on that plane of disagreement.
When asked about SRK’s altercation with Salman Khan later on during the promotion of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Katrina Kaif responded that she would love to finance a movie starring them both.
At the same promotional event, Shah Rukh Khan responded by saying, “These matters may eventually get settled, but it will never be on a public platform. It will be a subjective matter. It’s a severe issue, and we cannot attempt to overcome it by working on a movie together or if someone asks us to. Nobody else can fix it for us; only we can. It’ll take some time. It might occur someday.
Finally, in 2013, after a video of them hugging at Baba-Siddique’s Iftaar celebration went viral, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan put their issues behind them. The two famous people were spotted getting along during Arpita Khan Sharma’s wedding later in 2014. A picture of them kissing Arpita on the forehead has gone viral online.
Shortly after Zero, Salman Khan made another cameo appearance in the SRK-led film Pathaan. He is also anticipated to make an appearance in Tiger 3 as well. In the film Tiger Vs. Pathaan, the pair will reunite.
