Ananya Panday, who is rising quickly in her career surprised everyone by walking out of Maddock Films upcoming fantasy-romance movie Choomantar. She reportedly stepped away due to date issues.
The film is supposed to start next month but Ananya is now focusing on shooting the second season of her popular web series Call Me Bae. Because of this schedule clash she had to drop the project.
Now, Sreeleela is in talks for the lead role. Although she hasn’t received big offers in Telugu recently and her last film Mass Jathara didn’t do well, she is getting good attention in Bollywood.
She is already working on Anurag Basu’s film with Kartik Aaryan and is also discussing a dance number and a few other Hindi projects.
If she bags Choomantar, it would be a strong boost for her career. Another actress, Janki Bodiwala, is also being considered as a replacement. More updates are awaited.
