SP Balasubrahmanyam who has been an inspiration to millions is battling for his life. It is known news that the legendary singer has been tested COVID-19 positive and has been admitted to the MGM Health Care hospital in Chennai. On the 13th of this month, his health condition deteriorated and he was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit and put on life support.
While the hospital is regularly updating the health status of the singer, today it has released a statement which says that he is actively participating in the physiotherapy sessions.
“Thiru SP Balasubrahmanyam who had been admitted due to COVID-19 at MGM Healthcare continues to be on ventilator and ECMO support in the ICU. His current clinical condition is stable. He is fully awake, responsive, and actively participates in physiotherapy. He continues to be closely monitored by our multidisciplinary clinical team” the statement read.
