Siva Shakthi Datta Passes Away At 92

Legendary music composer MM Keeravani’s father, Siva Shakthi Datta passed away last night at his home in Manikonda.

He was 92 years old. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden demise. Siva Shakthi was a respected figure in TFI known as a writer, director and producer. He wrote lyrics for famous films like Baahubali and RRR.

He was also the elder brother of popular writer V. Vijayendra Prasad and the uncle of director Rajamouli.

Some of his well-known works include songs in Sye, Chatrapathi, Rajanna, Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali 2, RRR, and Hanu-Man. He also directed a film titled Chandrahas.

Many celebrities from the TFI are expressing their condolences to Keeravani’s family. Rest in peace sir.
