Sir Madam, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen, released in Tamil as Thalaivan Thalaivii on July 25 and became a super hit, collecting around Rs. 80 crores. Due to a clash with Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the Telugu version released later on August 1st.
Directed by Pandiraj, the film received a warm response in Tamil but is seeing limited success in Telugu because of competition from films like Kingdom and Mahavatar Narsimha.
Have a look at 5-day collections.
