Kollywood star Dhanush’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual project, Sir/Vaathi under the direction of Tollywood director Venky Atluri had a theatrical release on February 17th. Opened to decent reports, the film is performing beyond imagination at the box office. As per the trade reports, Sir/Vaati collected a worldwide share of Rs 26.92 crore. As per the trade reports, the pre-release business for Sir/Vaathi is done for Rs 34 crore. As the film collected Rs 26.92 crore share in three days, it should collect Rs 7.08 crore share more to achieve break-even status and emerge as a clean hit. Considering the steady run for the past three days, Sir/Vaathi is likely to achieve break-even status by this weekend and emerge as a profitable venture for the buyers and makers.
