Samantha began her career in Tamil cinema but became a star after delivering several hits in Telugu films. She has always prioritized Telugu movies, even after her marriage, when she continued to have a string of super hits.
However, she took a break from acting due to health and personal issues. Samantha received many web series offers after her success in “The Family Man” Season 2.
Wanting to explore new and challenging roles, she decided to be selective with her choices, focusing on unique scripts.
Raj and DK have directed most of her recent projects, and she has been signing their films one after another. While Samantha has been in talks to return to Telugu or Tamil cinema, none of the recent scripts have excited her enough to commit.
