Samantha Has Expressed Her Strong Support For Women In The TFI

Samantha has shown strong support for women in the Telugu film industry through an Instagram story.

She is asking the Telangana government to release a report submitted by The Voice of Women, a group that supports women in the industry.

Samantha’s endorsement has brought significant attention to this issue. In her post, she praised the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) in Kerala for their important work in addressing sexual harassment in the film industry.

She said “We, the women of the Telugu film industry, support the Hema Committee report and appreciate the WCC’s efforts in Kerala”.

“Inspired by them, The Voice of Women was created in 2019 to help address these issues. We urge the Telangana government to release the sub-committee report on sexual harassment to help develop policies that ensure a safe working environment for women in our industry”.
