Surrender Reddy‘s 2009 film “Kick” starring Ravi Teja was a huge success with box office numbers. The Action comedy movie was so famous that movie was remake in bollywood under the same title, starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, and became a huge big success.
Now, nearly a decade later, there’s thrilling buzz that a direct sequel to “Kick” (2014) is in development. Salman Khan will reprise his role, with senior film maker Sajid Nadiadwala funding the production and A.R. Murugadoss directing the project. Director Murugadoss, known for films such as Ghajini and “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty” is working on his fourth Hindi project.
Unlike the Telugu version of “Kick-2” (2015), this sequel will have an original script, indicating that it is not a remake. The team hopes to have a spectacular release around Eid 2025. Additionally, Prime Video has bought the film’s streaming rights, while the exact price is unknown.
