Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently starring in a fantasy film titled ‘Vishwambhara‘, directed by Vassishtha. The film, produced by UV Creations, has already commenced shooting, completing a schedule. Notably, it aims for a pan-Indian release, signifying its grand scale and ambition.
There’s been a significant change in the technical team. Sai Madhav Burra, initially hired as the dialogue writer, has reportedly stepped away from the project. The reasons behind this shift remain undisclosed. The replacement writer’s identity is yet to be revealed, leaving uncertainties about the continuity of the already filmed scenes.
The film boasts a star-studded cast with Trisha playing the female lead and Ashika Rangnath, Esha Chawala, and Surbhi portraying Chiranjeevi’s sisters. Additionally, Mrunal Thakur, Raj Tarun, and Naveen Chandra are said to have special roles, while Meenakshi Choudary will feature as an angel.
‘Vishwambhara’ promises to be a socio-fantasy spectacle, intertwined with elements of mythology, a genre that director Vassishtha Mallidi appears confident about. With an estimated budget of 200 crores, the production costs are anticipated to rise further as the project progresses. Scheduled for release on 10th January 2025, the film’s progress and eventual outcome are awaited eagerly by fans and industry enthusiasts alike, as it aspires to captivate audiences across India.
