Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently met members of the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation to discuss the welfare of cinema workers and the growth of the film industry.
He said Hyderabad should develop into a major film hub like Hollywood and asked workers to share their issues with the government.
The meeting was attended by Dil Raju, Vallabhaneeni Anil, Ammiraju Kaanumilli, and other union representatives.
The CM stressed that a healthy work atmosphere is important and warned that strikes or disputes harm both workers and producers. He assured that the government will step in to resolve problems and support workers.
He also said Skills University will provide training to improve technical and professional skills of cinema workers. The CM asked producers, especially small filmmakers, to encourage shootings in Telangana.
He added that the government will launch health insurance for film workers and continue welfare programs like the Gaddar Awards.
