The Baahubali franchise is very special to Rajamouli and his team. The film not only made Rajamouli a global name but also changed the scale of Indian cinema.
As the franchise completes ten years the team is re-releasing Baahubali: The Epic in theatres. The strong advance bookings show how eager the viewers are to experience this epic again on the big screen.
Jakkanna is also planning Baahubali 3 but this time it will be an animated film created using AI technology.
Discussions are ongoing with producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni and final decisions will be made soon. Since Mahavatar Narsimha became a huge hit interest in animated stories has grown.
