During his promotional visit to Kochi for his romantic comedy Dude, filmmaker-actor Pradeep Ranganathan spoke about his love for Malayalam cinema.
At the Kerala press meet he revealed that Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam starring Mohanlal is one of his all-time favourites. “I’ve always wanted to do something like that”, he said sharing how inspired he was by the film.
Pradeep also praised Thudarum, another Mohanlal film calling it “amazing” and mentioned that he recently spoke to its director Tharun Moorthy to appreciate his work.
Meanwhile Dude has hit theaters and early reactions on Twitter are positive. Fans are enjoying its youthful energy and fun-packed first half.
Overall the initial response for Dude is encouraging and audiences are now eager to see its performance at the box office.
