Posani Krishna Murali is back to direction and he made a political satire. About his movie some TDP leaders complained to Election Commission that he is trying to malign Chandrababu Naidu. Posani was asked to appear in front of EC and he did so on 18th March. Later he addressed media.
Posani clarified: “I am not making any movie against Chandrababu Naidu. Didn’t even make any such announcement. EC served notice to Me even after sending a letter clarifying that I have no such intention.
I was asked to appear before them. In the past, Films like ‘Mandaladyakshudu’ were made mocking NTR. When he was informed about it, NTR reacted in a dignified manner and even appreciated the lead actor for acting just alike him. That’s the quality of a leader. Now, Films have been made on the wrongdoings of Chandrababu Naidu. If Babu is a good person, Why would People take such films seriously? Why is he so worried about these movies?”
He said that he doesn’t want to rake up any political controversy but trying to make a satirical comedy on the government and the policies to reach out to people with the truth. “If people sought to kill me for that, then I don’t know what kind of democracy, we are living in,” said the actor.
