There have only been rumours about the postponement of Rajamouli’s upcoming film RRR, so far. It has now been confirmed by the team of RRR, officially, that the film’s release has been postponed. Most of Bollywood’s market has shut down, with theatres being shut down in Delhi, and Maharashtra imposing restrictions and a night curfew.
The Telugu states are also experiencing a surge in the number of Omicron cases, and there’s the issue of ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh. All things considered, sources say that the makers of RRR thought it best to postpone the release of the movie. While the new release date has not been announced, it is clear that it would be only after things settle down once again.
On the other hand, NTR will be seen playing Komaram Bheem in the film, while Ram Charan will be seen playing Alluri Sitaramaraju. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris are also a part of the film.
