Salman Khan fans haven’t been able to contain their excitement since the release of the Tiger 3 trailer a few days ago. Social media is buzzing with talk about the movie, from Katrina Kaif’s steamy-bath towel scene to the seeti-maar recall value of Ek Tha Tiger with the Bhai-back silhouette.

However, that isn’t the reason we are here! The reason for this is that, as specialists have begun to break down the movie frame by frame, accusations of “inspiration” have been made.

Yes, the trailer will remind you of a lot of other films, both Hollywood and Indian, since we have seen a lot of filmmakers try and even copy this kind of action. Due to a few inspirational images from the teaser, films like Mad Max: Fury Road and RRR have received mentions on social media.

We’ll start by discussing the scene that appears just before the title card of Tiger 3, in which Salman Khan’s character Tiger is shown swinging on the rope to get away from a blast that is occurring on the bridge behind him. Even though this is such a well-executed moment and doesn’t have any cheap visual effects, it’s been compared to the RRR scene where Jr. NTR’s Bheem saves a child from a river while a blast plays in the background.

Of course, the two situations aren’t precisely the same, but the general idea and structure of the scene are rather similar, and no, we didn’t figure this out. This was highlighted by graphic design guru KibaKibi in a recent video where he provided the VFX breakdown of the tiger 3 trailer

We noticed that he posted another video just before submitting this one, in which he discussed a number of topics, including Katrina Kaif’s towel scene. He notes in this video that there have been comparisons made between the opening scene of Mad Max: Fury Road and the Tiger 3 trailer.

Salman Khan’s back was visible in an open silhouette shot that brought back memories of a sequence from Mad Max: Fury Road for Kiba Kibi and many others. The expert in graphic design concurs that it has a striking resemblance, down to the colour scheme. Plagiarised? Enthralled? Whatever it is, we know Bhai is bringing Tiger 3 to the box office to cause havoc, thus in the end, none of this will matter.
