Vijay’s highly anticipated Tamil film, “Leo,” is generating immense excitement in the South Indian film industry. Despite the star hero’s recent underperforming film “Beast,” the association of director Lokesh Kanagaraj is creating significant buzz for this action thriller.
Following the massive success of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous film “Vikram” even in the Telugu circuits, renowned Telugu production house Sithara Entertainment has acquired the theatrical rights of “Leo” for a whopping ₹18 crores. This deal grants them the complete release rights for the movie in the two Telugu states. Remarkably, even before the film’s release, Sithara Entertainment has already made considerable profits from this acquisition.
They have managed to sell the Andhra distribution rights for an impressive ₹9-10 crores and Ceeded rights for another ₹4-5 crores. For the Nizam region, the production house plans to release the film in collaboration with esteemed producer Dil Raju. Despite being a dubbed film, the immense faith in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial prowess has prompted local distributors, buyers, and exhibitors to offer attractive rates for the movie, allowing Sithara Entertainment to make sound business decisions.
“Leo” is all set to hit the theaters on October 19th, delighting fans with a grand Dasara treat. The film’s intriguing plot, coupled with Vijay’s star power and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial finesse, is expected to make “Leo” a blockbuster success in the Tamil and Telugu markets alike.
