Another star son is eagerly awaiting his launch — actor Srikanth’s son Roshan is being launched with the first feature film made by MAA TV, tentatively Nirmala Convent. Looks like they were really impressed with the young actor’s acting chops and screen presence in Rudramadevi where he played the role of junior Rana. It is only after that the makers of Nirmala Convent had a word with Roshan to star in the teenybopper romance. Apart from a 10-day schedule lined up for the Oopiri star, Nagarjuna, most of the film has been shot. The movie is slated to come out by the end of summer.
However, Srikanth won’t be allowing Roshan to act unless he finishes his studies. The actor is not going to act in films anymore after Nirmala Convent.
The senior actor was quoted as saying, “Roshan won’t act after Nirmala Convent. A lot of offers have been coming his way. But, he should first complete the education because neglecting education isn’t a good idea for any youngster.”
And there are no disagreements between the father and the son about this. Although Roshan’s reasons sounds slightly strange and somewhat funny. “It won’t look good if I romance the heroines and bash up villains at the age of just 17! After standard 12, I want to go abroad to pursue mass communication and obtain a degree in acting.”
