Vidaamuyarchi: New Single Sawadeeka Creates Buzz

The team behind Vidaamuyarchi released the music video for a new song titled Sawadeeka on December 27th. Composed by Anirudh with lyrics by Arivu, the song features vocals by Anirudh and Anthony Daasan.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi is an action packed movie. After completing portions of the shoot in Turkey in October 2023 the team moved to Azerbaijan to wrap up filming.

The movie stars Ajith Kumar alongside Trisha. Notably, this marks the reunion of Ajith and Trisha, who previously worked together.

The technical team includes cinematographer Om Prakash and editor NB Srikanth. Anirudh Ravichander handles the music, and Netflix has secured the film’s digital rights.

Produced by A. Subaskaran of Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi is slated for a Pongal 2025 release. Meanwhile, Ajith is also working on another film, Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
