High Court has refused to issue stay on the release of the film, Lakshmi’s NTR directed by Ram Gopal Verma and Agastya. Then, Election Commission asked the producer to appear in front of them to clarify about the allegations that they have demeaned TDP.
Rakesh Reddy appeared in front of EC’s MCC and gave in writing that his film doesn’t have any references to the party and doesn’t promote the rivals as well. They clarified that they used yellow flags but did not name the party or others from party that are not in the book written by Lakshmi Parvathi.
Hence, Election Commission has given clean chit to release the film. Rakesh Reddy said that the movie will release on 29th March for sure. RGV is ecstatic and he announced that film will definitely release in maximum available theatres on 29th March.
But TDP leaders are not in favour of the films release and they could come up with some other hurdles to delay the movie till elections are over. We have to wait and see.
