Nikhil Siddhartha has been trying to find success with the scripts that come his way but after a good run he also had a disappointment. He talked about that in recent interview.
He said, “I am happy that Kirrak Party did end up as a commercial success as the budget was low. But it did not become Ekkadiki pothav Chinnavada which I hoped it can. I am disappointed about that but then I am only an actor not a writer.”
He further said that he feels the lack of innovative scripts is hurting TFI and the low success rate is making producers highly defensive in their approach. He exclaimed that he cannot write and he has to accept the situation and wait for scripts.
He stated that he is looking to deliver as many good films he can. He did say that he did not mean to comment on Vijay Devarakonda as he doesn’t take the race for star status too seriously. He said, “Only 15 heroes have box office pull today and we cannot keep any kind of negative emotions between us. We have to accept the work that comes our way and deliver better movies rather than fighting about it. I can only do two movies a year and I will try to do my best in them.”
His Mudra is getting ready for release and he is busy with Swasa, right now. He has Karthikeya 2 with Chandoo Mondeti to look forward to next year after Swasa.
