Mohan Babu Returns In A Strong Character-Driven Role

Mohan Babu who is known for picking strong, character-based roles, is once again set to take on a powerful part.

The veteran actor was recently seen in Kannappa in an important role and earlier impressed audiences with his performances in many films.

Now, he has signed on as the lead antagonist in debutant director Ghattamaneni Jayakrishna’s film. The project will be helmed by Ajay Bhupathi. Shooting is scheduled to begin next month.

Mohan Babu was highly impressed with the narration given by Ajay Bhupathi and immediately gave his nod to the role.

The film will be officially launched on October 15, and the makers are considering the title Srinivasa Mangapuram. Adding more interest, Rasha Thadani, daughter of veteran actress Raveena Tandon, has been roped in as the female lead.

Produced jointly by Vyjayanthi Movies and Anandi Art Creations, the film is expected to release next year as a rustic entertainer with an emotional love story.
